Abnormal scale issue on my new foster corn?

I'm brand new to corns, and while hanging out with my new foster corn (who i've decided to adopt) I noticed this really odd scale. It appears lifted, with some semi-opaque white stuff beneath it. It is solid, and a whitish-grey. I dont know when he shed last, as I've only had him for 2 weeks. Its just under this one scale, on part of a ventral scale. The scale itself is normal except for this one area in which the white/grey stuff is, and there the scale is grey.

Nothing to worry about, just a minor skin irritation. It will probably be gone after the next shed. Might have been an insect bite or some other non-dangerous abrasion.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?
