Or what if its a harlequin? They often have a reverse stripe. Not exactly genetic though. I certainly hope whatever that one is, it's genetic and you make more
Yeah, definitely sent a message to RDR, to confirm if it is in fact in his posession, and to let him know it was not sold with permission. I don't expect much to be done, as there was no written contract - lesson learned - But I do want to know where he went to.
While I'm hopeful it proves out to be something, I honestly believe it to be a freak thing. 3 eggs hatched from that clutch: 2 Albino males, and 1 het albino female. neither of the stripe's siblings had even a hint of striping out of the ordinary, and neither parents have any sort of striping. The sire is a visual "yellow headed" albino which I understand to also be a random, uninheritable trait. He was picked up from a local breeder that needed money fast to fix his rack that had burned the snake. The het albino female/dam was picked up from a random craigslist ad, for no reason other than the fact that she was a breeder sized female, that would be ready to pair with the albino immediately out of QT.
If the stripe is inheritable, or some 'het' morph, then the heavens conspired to create him. I hope this to be true, I very much doubt it is - only time will tell
