    Sealing the cage is the hardest part of assembling the cage. (the only hard part really) It is exactly the same as caulking a bath tub or sink. I highly suggest that you doing something like this when sealing the cage. it will make the process so much easier, and the end result look so much better:

    (skip to 1 minute 35 seconds)



    I would recommend using your finger to smooth out the bead, and force it into the cracks again after removing the tape. (like the video shows before removing the tape)
