Spider BP resting on side of Heat Panel
My baby Spider BP doesn't stop moving around.. I actually thought she got out of the tank (which is virtually impossible) as I couldn't find her. She managed to find a spot behind the radiant heat panel. She now goes there and hides.
I don't feel like she is in danger as the surface of the back of the panel doesn't get too hot.
Should I be concerned?? Should I try to put the UTH back as she evidently enjoys the belly heat??

Herpstat 4 set to 90 on hot side with probe right above substrate right below panel and around 76-78 on cool side.... Only have RHP without any UTH. Humidity consistently 35%... A little low but I have been misting every few days.
My normal is in exact same set-up and very happy!
Weird

Humidity way too low should be at minimum 50% all times, try a couple damp sponges on plates iv found those work good.
OR pick up a cheap $30 room humidifier, problem solved!

Re: Spider BP resting on side of Heat Panel
I have never tried moss but have seen someone put it in a clear container with holes in the top.
oh make sure that the hygrometer is on the cool side or at least not under the lamp or it might give you false readings, not sure if this can happen with RHP but I did this once and realized my mistake when the tank had condensed water on its side.

What size are your water dishes? They look like the 5" stoneware crocks we use for our juvies. If so you can just try the 7" bowls and move them directly under the RHP. Give it a couple days to settle in and see what you humidity is then. If it's still alittle low you can try the humid hide trick for when she is shedding.
