    Re: Help! Armadillo Disaster!

Update; I think (I hope) that my dog has finally managed to run off the ninja armadillo. I never did see the little gray terror, but I just finished patching up my backyard (93 holes!!!!)

Whatever you do don't come into direct contact with the armadillo...they are the only known carriers and reservoirs other than humans of leprosy (Hansen's Disease).

    Re: Help! Armadillo Disaster!

    Little known facts about Armadillos:

Armadillos are native to Mexico and have been spreading further North for the past 100 years.

Armadillos generally do not survive encounters with vehicles due to an instinctive threat response that causes them to jump straight up into the air when startled.

Armadillos always have litters of Identical Quintuplets.

    Armadillos do not Hibernate.
