Will Tony Stark make a jericho missle for me? But with NIX?

Mites. Again. But this time, in my non-Qt collection. Only found them on one animal, but I treated the entire collection (and rack, and wood paneling, and carpet, and adjacent dresser).

Maybe I'm the carrier. I should shave my head. Just in case.

    Provent-a-mite.

spray the doorways between rooms as well.

Change clothes and have a shower between qt and non Qt snake work.

Don't share food or equipment between collections.

Your QT advice is spot on and I definitely appreciate the benefit of your experience. But I don't think the mites came from the qt snakes - no signs of mites there. Unfortunately, I have a 2 room apartment - bedroom, and kitchen/bathroom. QT is farthest corner in bathroom from the existing collection. It's inadequate, I know. Much bigger place very soon, which will allow for proper qt procedures.

PAM is a great product, but (and I know you know this - this is for the benefit of others), they have the same active ingredient.

Here's a shot of the info from NIX's pdf, available on their website.

Here's a shot of the info from NIX's pdf, available on their website.

So does pencil lead and coal and diamond.

It's also a family of chemicals not a specific molecule.

I know your QT doesn't have mites - my suggestions were designed to keep it that way so it didn't end up bouncing from qt to full collection and back again in a never ending cycle of re-infection. It's best to treat both at the same time anyway though. Just follow the directions on the can exactly.

The reason I suggested provent-a-mite is that it has a lingering effect of up to 30 days - nix doesn't.

So if you treat all round ( and up over ) the doorways every 3 weeks or so then no mites can make their own way out of the room at all.

If you take the precautions with your equipment, food and clothing etc they won't be able to hitch hike on you either.

that means they are in the place to be treated twice with the pam ( again I'd suggest every 21-28 days ) which should get all the adults already there and the lasting effect will get any eggs they lay that hatch between the treatments.

That gives you the best shot of completely eradicating them once and for all.
