Ya that's a good pic.. A infrared laser thermometer is handy as well to check your hot spot temp as the uth won't help ur ambient temp much at all.. And unless u have a thermometer with a probe all ur going to get is ambient..
My set up I'm trying to get dialed in by Sunday uses 2 stick on thermometers for ambient hot/cold side a hygrometer for humidity and the herpstat + with the probe between the tank and uth
Ok I got it now. I had no idea the uth plugged into the thermostat. Thanks for the help everyone. So basically ill put my uth on one side of the tank where my warm hide is and have another hide on the cool side. The warm side will be around 95 degrees and the cool should be around 82-85. For the ambient temp I can use an over head heater?
Thanks again everyone

95 is a little high. I'd shot for 90.
Otherwise sounds good. to heat the air in a tank an infrared heat lamp or ceramic heat emitter are good choices. I suggest that you use one of them in conjunction with a lamp dimmer to dial in the right air temperature.
