I just had Andariel/Mephisto (until i decide what she really is it'll be hard switchin names. might just stick with Andariel i think who knows)... out of her tank and noticed a couple small patches (only 4-5 individual scales) that looked black, or atleast not like the rest of them. Prolly 15 scales in all.
I'll take some pictures in a few minutes, but was just wonderin if anyone has any idea what I'm talkin about, and what might be the cause? I was thinkin humidity because i checked her temps and her hot side was about 100 and her cool about 87, so i took her out of the cage and held her while it cooled down.
On a good note, she's being much more active in her tank... almost like stalking lookin for food. so when I go out imma get her another mouse/rat (large mouse/small medium rat?) and hope she eats it.
Ohh and i let her play in the tub for abou 10 minutes too that made her scales alot softer, so i definately have to start payin more attention to her humidity levels. (adds buying a spray bottle to his list of things to get while out).

They don't look burnt, just dead. like when u have dead skin.
Just wanted to make sure it didn't sound like anything dreadful or nothin.

he's fine. peanut has one single patch in one of his black bands that is about 9 or 10 scales, it's totally dry. looks like a little patch of plastic. i think i might have had the humidity a bit too low when i first got him, so keep an eye on that. no biggie though.
