Thanks guys.

I left a public post on the sellers fb page saying
"Just wanted to let you guys know that the sunbeam has shed and the dry scales that were there when I got him are gone...."

I'm still mad at them for shipping him with dry scales / blisters (without informing me! Pictures they had sent looked perfect...), but he is healthy now!
And I'm going to keep it that way.
