It's important to keep track of your infractions

Can someone explain how infractions work? I can see that some people have 1/0 and some have 0/3 (these ones need to cool off!) - so what does the placement of the numbers mean?

I have a clear understanding of how infractions work, how you get them. So I guess that's not really the right question! But you see what I'm after, right?

Have you had any infractions? Maybe that's why you don't see it? It's just a little set of numbers under the person's info. Actually, under yours (I can't see you right now, so I'm going on memory) I think it says 1/0 (0) or something like that. I've always assumed it was you have this many infractions, slash, when you get to this many you're a goner. Death by infraction!
No really. So I started paying attention to it, and that wouldn't make sense.

Hi,

Just to explain the format under your avatars;

1/0 = one warning and no infractions

We realise the family friendly nature of the site can be a surprise to some so we have one general warning and another for our advertising rules. So it is possible to have 2/0 without having a single infraction point.

Anything after the "/" is an actual infraction which is explained in the post linked above.

I remember my first infraction... Ive learned to control myself wayyy better. Now itll take me a lot longer before i infract again. Not that im planning to infract any time soon, but you never know.
