So my apartment is old and lets all the $$ heat and air conditioning out. Therefore, I don't turn the heat up too much during the winter to save on costs. This has been the 2nd winter season in my apartment and I had my brand new lesser pass away 2 nights ago, I am sure it was an RI but I have no experience with RI's or know anyone who has so I didn't see the signs until it was too late
With that said, I keep my apartment around 68 in the winter...maybe 70 if it gets too cold...should I buy a space heater to keep in the "snake room" to help warm the ambient temps up more? I usually turn up ther thermostat to help compensate for the cooler ambient temps but after I just lost a baby I am questioning my current methods.
Any help would be much appreciated!!
Thanks!!!
