This is now one of my favorite anime. Two season out already and a 3rd is coming. Despite the name it is a romantic comedy with an unwanted harem. It has very unique takes on zombies, vampires (ninja vampires to be precise), necromancers, and the ever present magical girl (with a magical chainsaw no less).

So if you liked Shuffle, Tenchi Muyo, Toradora, Rosario Vampire, etc. you'll probably like this one.

I wish High School of The Dead didnt get cancelled!!! I was in love with that show.

But not as much as Rosario + Vampire. I was actually depressed for a few days after I finished that show. I Was so attached the the characters and the story line. And it just ended...

Well, that's because it had caught up to the manga. And anime shops these days typically don't do the old method where they just make up stuff till the manga continues. There is precedent for anime seasons being 2 or 3 years apart now. The Rosario Vampire mange is just now to the point where there is enough new material to continue the anime. It just depends on the demand for it. I really do want to see it happen because Moka has 2 more sisters to introduce us to.
