Bearded dragon getting laser surgery
I don't have a beardy but I think they are very cool and maybe one day I will have one. I was browsing around YouTube today and found this video. I thought it was pretty intersting and wanted to share:

Let me add that I'm not promoting this "Reptile Guy" or anything. I don't know who he is or if he's a good guy(seems to be though) but I just wanted to share the surgery.

Poor guy. But that's pretty awesome to watch, I must say.

Didn't have sound and don't know the procedure for reptiles that small, but it seems odd to me that it wakes up in the middle of the surgery and struggles.

Yea, I felt bad for him when that happened. The doc was saying the he had anesthesia(SP?) and he wasn't moving before because it was dead tissue but started moving then because he was hitting live tissue and it just probably felt weird to the beardy.

The laser and how it worked was pretty neat. Why wasnt the vet wearing gloves though? Seems unsanitary. And then the owner who was filming just sorta stuck his hand in there too to help hold the beardy down. Idk, it was neat to watch but i sorta question if the vet knew 100% what he was doing...
EDIT: I dont really know very much about vet procedures like this so if im way off base here, someone with more experience step in and lmk^.

Very interesting. I think the caption Sao that he's still out but the body reacted when accidentally hit live tissue (at least I think it was accidental)
