Red vent....
I a baby normal bp, shes about 6 months old.. She eats like a champ but shes having trouble shedding so today I went to give her a bath and I noticed that her vent is red.. What can be causing this and how can I fix it?

Is there a lump at all near her vent?
Any chance you could post a picture? There are lots of reasons it could be red.

Re: Red vent....
I will post a picture as soon as I can.. She looks full like right after a meal but she hasn't crapped.. Will a Luke warm bath/soak help her out?

The bath definitely can't hurt. Just soak her and leave her alone to soak in the water. Make sure the water doesn't get cold, and check on her every 5 minutes or so. That usually does the trick for me.
I would definitely post a picture first though. Mine never gets a red vent, and the red vent thing could be something that can get irritated by the water.
Also, what substrate are you using? What are your temps and humidity?

Re: Red vent....
It could be that she's about to pass a urate or defecate. A picture would be helpful.
