You're so lucky that you get to work with those on a regular basis! Those are some sweet pics, and amazing balls. I'm in Maine, I should head down there some time. Hehe, how do you decide what is part of your personal collection, and what is part of the business? Must be tough!

Well, first and foremost we decide what is going to become a part of our breeding stock and what we're going to sell - and that's all based upon our upcoming projects as well as the demand for various animals. All of the animals in those pictures are part of the NERD collection.

I try not to add animals to my own private collection - which I maintain outside of the work I do at NERD - very often, as I try to keep that group under 100 animals so it stays manageable. But that's a lot harder than it seems sometimes, as there are certain animals I find irresistable.

I love NERD Balls! (That sounded strange!)
Anyways......I've never been very wild about Spiders, but some of those combos are SAWEET! Is that a Carmel Spider?

I can feel the Darkside creeping in! The Force of The Spider is powerful, young Jedi Princess!

That's actually an Orange Ghost Spider (I'm thinking of calling them HoneyBee Spiders, since we already have Bumble Bees, Killer Bees and Wanna Bees). They DO look like little Caramels when they hatch though - just very pretty snakes!

You know what's funny? I wasn't really into the whole ball python thing until Kevin handed me a Spider -they have SUCH outgoing personalities, I think it's genetic, that are quite unlike many ball pythons I've seen. And they EAT like RETICS!! I'm amazed they don't get 20' long! LOL!

Well we're certainly glad that you got into bp's. They're great pets, and almost always docile. I like them enough to base a whole site off them! LOL, they're pretty nice in all shapes and colors.

that is a great pic. I love the contrast of each pattern of the snakes in those two pictures. But what really makes me crazy is the pied bp, because if it wasn't because it's to expensive for my budget :x I would have a pair of those beaties
