My schneiders skink!

I rarely post pics of this guy (manly because he's always buried), but I caught him poking his head out today, so I thought I would show him off. I love his sand hat


This guy (?) is quite the survivor, as he was one of my first childhood pets (age 6?), and survived many years in a 10 gallon with no UVB and only a few crickets occasionally. He was in pretty bad shape when I finally wised up an realized that I needed to research, but with some TLC he has really improved.

I think that he is also very old, because he was bought as a wild caught adult from petco a good 6-8 years ago. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

I love schneiders! At the distribution center I worked in, the schneiders would greet me at the front of their enclosure and willingly go to my hands.
