BP setup?
What do you think about the setup for my bp?  Any questions or suggestions?

Thermometer/humidity gauge? I use the Acurite ones from Walmart that I saw on here in other posts.

Looks fine as long as your heat/humidity are within healthy range.

Took the hygrometer out to clean it (it had snake poop)
The aspen is about 3 inches deep.

Are you using belly heat? 3 inch aspen will act as an insulator - it may help overheat any heat mat you're using and/or prevent that heat from penetrating through to the surface. Your bp may burrow to get to it, but if there's a heat build up you/your snake could be in for a rough time.

I have a non contact laser thermometer. Inside his hide is 88 degrees

In a tank yes, not in a tub. You can keep it there to check things out but not all the time.

I used a gauge for about a week. It was not too reliable.
