Ball Python Room Ambient Temperature Worries

So i know the ambient temperature for BP's should be 80-85 F, however i am unable to sustain this. The best i can get is Daytime low 84 daytime high 87. Is this alright? I do not want my pythons to be at risk. Thanks forum!

That should be fine! Anything below about 75 is starting to get worrisome.

I may not be understanding right, but you seem to be saying that you want the ambient temperatures to be between 80 - 85, but right now they are too HIGH, at 84 - 87, correct? Do you live in a part of the world where it is hot at this time of year?

What are the temperatures at night time?

I use a space heater, so i can achieve all of the other temperatures just fine. The part of the world i live in right now is on average 60 degrees F. So not warm by any standards. I am saying that yes i would like my temps to be 90-95, but they are 94-97. I'm only wondering if this is alright form my ball pythons.

Connect your heater to a thermostat so it heats to the proper temps.

I have a Lasko heater from Walmart. About $50-55. Works wonders !! I set temp in the morning and it maintains it till I change it. I keep it on 84 during the day. And drop it to 75 at night.

PS...... DO NOT PLUG THIS ONE INTO ANY EXTENSION CORD OR THERMOSTAT!!!!
