Just to turn the tables, I'm always wary of people who cry "stolen" on Craigslist. There's no way to verify that they're telling the truth either. So basically without a photo on the other end there is no way to point the blame towards anyone. It just was crazy weird that these two threads popped up around the same time, about the same type of snake. Perhaps you could post verification, like a screenshot of the purchase off your bank statement (pretty much everyone has online banking now, right? Just blur out any personal information in the picture like account numbers and such) so that people will lay off you? Proof of a legal purchase will be the only way to stop speculation, IMO.

    Either way, nice snake.

for whatever it's worth, interloc was doing the responsible thing by keeping an eye out for people who might steal. he didn't accuse you of anything. and while not impossible, it is highly coincidental that a 2012 female butter hypo was stolen from a show, for which NO picture exists, and your first or second post on bp.net features an animal of the same morph, gender, and age. again, I'm not accusing anyone of anything, and butter/lesser hypos are not all that uncommon these days. but I do agree that it's highly coincidental, and scammers/thieves have been known to document animals they obtained illegally in the past. common sense and moral rectitude thankfully often go together, and thieves don't usually possess either. I mean no offense by this statement to you personally. but it's not outside the realm of possibility for such an event to occur.

I HAVE BEEN BUYING AND SELLING BOAS FOR QUITE SOMETIME. so before you try to make those "interesting" you should make sure what are you saying.
I am the one that had the snake stolen, I
am not in anyway saying "you" stole the snake, maybe you purchased the snake from the person that did steal it? Maybe that's nnot the snake I had stolen? I would just like to make sure so I can try and catch the person that did steal my snake and also hopefully prevent it from happening to someone else and also get my snake back. So if their is anyway you could help me on this I would really appreciate it. Can you understand where I am coming from? I still have a major knot in my stomach about the whole ordeal
also I do not have a picture at the moment of my snake so I am trying to get one (from the guy I got it from a few months back at another reptile show)
note to self: take photos of your animals
