Rat Rack Complete

Right at $50 on supplies, super easy to construct. Tools used were a hand saw, mider box (spelling?), drill, wire snips, staple gun and hammer (for putting castors on). Supplies were 10' of 1/2 inch hardware cloth, 3" screws, ball bearing castors, mortar mixing tubs from home depot and ten 8' 2X2s. I have two breeding tubs and one more for growing out babies for my larger snakes. I may add plumbing at some point but will be using 1/2 gallon water bottles for now. I will be happy to give more info to anyone who us I interested in doing something similar. Thanks for looking!

looks professional. i think i'm gonna end up building one of these come spring time. the selection of feeder rat sizes around here is pathetic, so i think i'm gonna have to start producing my own.

It can be hard to get any big ones here as well. That and wanting to know that I am getting quality, live feeders was why I decided to breed my own.

I'm interested in how you have the half gallons hooked up. Do you also just leave the food on top?

Very nice! I need to make myself one of these. Only tool I'm lacking is a staple gun!
