Question Dent in Ball Pythons left Eye and Incomplete Shed?

I'll give some background information first. I got my ball python back in April of 2012 and he has been perfect. Eats dead rats, usually sheds in one piece, and super friendly. I've never had any problems with him.

My ball python recently shed and it did not come off in one piece. Instead, he still has a few pieces on his back that are slowly coming off so I wasn't too worried. I looked at him today and noticed he has (I think) a dent in his eye. Now that I'm typing this I feel like this happened to him one other time and I just left it and it went away.

Could this be form not enough humidity? Should I soak him in his water bowl? Anyone know what I should do and if I should worry?

    Thanks,
    mavhammer
