Non-Toxic Silicone Sealant

Does anyone know of a brand of silicone sealant that's non-toxic and safe for reptiles? In one of my display terrariums, I have something similar to this: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...AvailInUS%2FNo It has a hollow section in part of the branches and it's big enough for a small snake (maybe not a BP, but definitely for a young milksnake, corn snake, or kingsnake) to wiggle up in there and get stuck. Since I have that decor in a corn snake display (among a million other hides), I don't want my girl getting stuck. After she found the hole the first time, I took it out immediately and have had it sitting around my room for months. I want to seal up that hole so it can go back in her terrarium and I don't have to worry about her getting stuck.

I know, I'm long-winded. However, in short, does anyone know of a brand of non-toxic silicone sealant that's safe to use to seal up this hollow branch and won't kill my snake. Thanks!

I'm thinking just about any sealant would be safe once it has cured. I know people use hot glue and rubber cement for a lot of reptile cage projects. I personally would go with hot glue since it cures fast and it doesn't smell.

There is a specific silicone for terrariums/aquariums. I've never tried it but I have seen it. It could be one of those things where it's the exact same product, but the put it out for more money and say its specific for terrariums Who knows?

I would use hot glue as well easier in the long run. I would not think rubber cement is a good idea it uses some serious solvents.

GE SCS 1200 silicone is one of the structural silicone used to make aquariums. Once fully cured it is animal safe.

Hot glue would be the cheap and easy way to go, or there is aquarium silicone you can buy that would do the trick.

I use aquarium sealant. It has a strong vinegar like smell when you first apply it, but it is ok after it cures...

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think I'm going to try hot glue since I have that laying around my house. If that doesn't work, I'll try the aquarium sealant.
