    software help?

I am the first to remind people that I am not very computer literate at all.
My new laptop had windows office on it but it was only a 30 day trial.

Now what I am looking to do is have a spreadsheet (?) to keep track of my spending.
I want to have one sheet for the rodents, another for snake supplies, and another for spending/credits with a pet store I deal with.
My only two criteria are cheap and EASY!!!
I am not looking to run a business with it but more for my personal information.
Does anyone have any software suggestions?

You could download openoffice.org which is an open source software like MS Office, but free...

Or you could do it all online with google docs.

Please, instead of using OpenOffice, consider using LibreOffice. It is extremely similar, but without the ownership of Oracle.

I would also suggest google docs. They even allow you to export your files in microsoft office file format just in case you want to open it in office.
