Looking for ideas on my logo.

Ok so here is the deal. I came on and made a post last night asking for name suggestions, I am still thinking on that one. The reason is I have been thinking about logo designs for a while and I just happened to be outside at the right time and saw this reflection on my neighbor’s shed and thought something like this would be a nice design.



I came up with the 2 designs. I would love to hear ideas on color. And if I should put my name in the yellow (or whatever color it ends up being). Or should I come up with a snake head and tail like it looks like in the reflection and put my name on the top and bottom of the oval? Thanks everyone for your input.

I do graphic design as a hobby. I can try to come up with a logo/name for you if you'd like. I'd recommend not using an oval like you have. It's a little more "current" to use a typographical logo. Something designed with your name as the focal.
