As a non-cable person for the last five years I can say that I don't feel like I've missed much! We get everything we need off of Netflix (I'm not a big fan of Hulu just because of the ads, it makes me think of youtube and it cycles between the same 5-8 for each movie or show, which makes me want to throw a controller at the TV). My boyfriend recently signed us up for cable (as in the last two weeks) and it has yet to get hooked up, but I'm not really relishing the thought. It's only $10 to add it to our internet, but I'm.... leery. There's honestly not much I'm interested in seeing
Edit: Don't know why I didn't say this in the first place, but that sounds like an AWESOME year, hardship gives us the chance to shape ourselves and it sounds like you had some great things happen too
