Ok, seeking opinions from the veterans......

So as soon as the weather warms up a bit, I am going to be recieving this little guy from a good friend of mine up north. His mother is a Hypo/Ghost, and his father is a Pastel 100% het Hypo/Ghost.

Now, we know for sure he is Hypo/Ghost, because his sheds are clear. The question is....is he Pastel. Now, comparing him to his sister, who is a very obvious Pastel Hypo, he is duller looking, but when I compare him in photos to just Hypo/Ghost animals around his age, he is obviously brighter. He has this orange on his sides that is hard to see in the photos, it's wierd.

I don't care if he isn't Pastel as well (I love him, he's georgous), but I am just curious is all. He does have his mother's olive green tones, but, his sides are so bright to us. I have photos that were taken by my friend to go by right now. I will get more pics of him once he arrives. So anyway, I was just looking to get more opinions from folks to see what the consensus was. Thanks! *These photos are all taken in various light settings, but un-modified*

Okay, here is his hatchling photo:

Here are a couple photos from a couple weeks ago:

Here are a couple shots of him from today:

Here's a couple right next to his sister (taken today) who is obvious Pastel Hypo/Ghost:

Here is his belly shot, taken today also:

Here is his mother, the Hypo/Ghost. She has such a pretty olive green tone. *This animal belongs to my friend, not me, but I watermarked it because I am posting it on the internet*:

The sire is in shed today, so I do not have photos of him just yet.

Thanks in advance for any opinions.

I'm personally not seeing pastel. I would expect to see a lot more blushing is he was pastel as well. He looks like a nice hypo to me.

One of pastels dead give always are the faded head. Especially when they are young. You posted a pic of the snake in question beside a pastel hypo. Check out the head difference. Pastels always have that light purple head going on. Just a hypo but a cool one.

This is how I check. The overall color is just not right for pastel hypo as well . You got yourself a nice little hypo though .
