First attempt took maybe 8 hours over 3 days lol. Hasn't been sealed yet

You took more time than I did! I usually just find plastic tubs and cut holes in them. Just tonight I took two new (unused) kitty litter pans and cut holes in them to put in the 41qt tub that's going in my quarantine room for my new adult female I'm getting this week.

Nothing wrong with that at all! I take it you have a tank? I could never make anything more natural looking because I use tubs. I do, however, have one corn snake in a display tank and she has some cheap hides that I bought.

Not a tank do to speak actually a Wood and glass enclosure that I made but kinda still working on decor

That's an awesome idea! When I finally get my stack of cages built I want to get some natural looking hides. Did you use clay? I've also seen people use silicone and coco fiber to make some pretty cool effects

I made it by carving a piece of styrofoam and then covering it with tile grout and then painting and sealing
