egg tub setup question

I read the thread and asked a question but never got a reply my question or questions are as followed please help

1. What size tub do you use for your egg clutches?

2. Do you poke any holes in your tubs when the eggs are in them or not to keep humidity high?

3. When the eggs pip or you cut them and remove to a new tub with wet paper towel do you poke holes in this tub?

4. Do you use egg crate or light diffuser that you get at lowes or home depot to keep eggs of the substate to keep the moisture to hold better with the eggs not touching the substrate??

I use shoebox sized tubs, just the cheap $1 ones.

I put light diffuser on top of the substrate and I don't use any press-n-seal or anything like that.

I also don't poke holes in the tub, they will breathe as long as you get the cheap tubs, those are no where near air tight.

And I leave the eggs in the same tub when I cut them. They will be just fine. Once they come out of the egg I replace the substrate with wet paper towels and leave them all in the same tub in the incubator until they all shed.

I do pretty much the same thing only I use press-n-seal up until a week before I cut.

I use 7-12qt bin placing the eggs straight in the perlite

We use locking lid 7qt sterilites(no longer available), they are sealed fairly well.

Perlite under 2 pieces of light diffuser, add water until it touches the bottom of the bottom piece of the 2 light diffuser pieces.

We have 4 tiny holes per tub for ventilation

When eggs pip or we cut them open, and after heads are poking out and they are breathing on their own, we put them into a clean tub with damp paper towels and back into the inc until the emerge.
