    .....i'm using mdf and a lot of sealer ..lol .... I've had good results with my current enclosure of the same material.

    your not concerned with the formaldehyde resins used in the production of the mdf?

    medium density fiberboard ......what most all cabinets are made of ultra smooth and inexpensive got all my pieces cut for $30

    I looks cool!. I would definitely consider covering the inside with sticky tiles to cover up the wood stuff. That will help keep the chemicals from being released with all the humidity and moisture.
