    Snakes picky about ASFs

Just trying to get information. How many of you have experienced a BP that once fed ASFs wants nothing else. Was thinking of breeding some but don't want my snakes to become picky eaters

My snakes have no issues in switching between mice and ASFs.

My snakes switch back and forth between rats and ASFs all the time. It can happen that a snake will prefer one type of food item (mice, rats or ASFs), but it isn't as common as some would have you believe. To read some posts on this forum, you would think ASFs are crack cocaine to ball pythons! Because of this, all snakes that I sell, I make sure they are eating f/t rats. You may find some buyers reluctant to purchase a snake that eats ASFs, no matter how often they eat Norway rats as well.

Well that's what I'm worried about is not being able to sell my snakes if and when I eventually start breeding. Just because I chose to feed less smelly rats lol, I'm betting selling excess though its be easier to sell rats over ASF

None. I bred and fed ASFs for about 6 months.
