http://pandora-thebes.blogspot.sg/20...blog-post.html
In the link above is the picture. Are those parts i circled red mites ? Or just scratches? i jus got him 3 days ago . He just stays mostly in his hide box. nv seen him soaking his water bowl .
The guy who sold it to me said he fed live to him.
If its mites , what product is recommended ?
thanks in advance guys.
Sorry about putting the pic on my blog , as i couldnt upload it normally.

That looks like scarring from past rat bies or whatever, it will heal slowly as he sheds his skin.

Ok , thank u very much . was worried that they might have been.
And the small black spots on his sides are just normal for a BP right?

If you mean his spotted markings on his sides? Yeah as long as you feel them and they aren't bumpy or anything those are just natural patterns he was born with.

if its mites you'll see them move. I bought mine and she had mites. and when i held her the mites crawled on me. You'll deff be able to tell. From the picture that just looks lik some scarring.

Just check under his head and around his mouth, mite congregate around the head and vent. Also reptile mites arent harmful to mammals they will sometimes travel on rats, mice, or humans but they dont pose any threat to you

I just got him about a week ago , i think he is still abit afraid . But i did manage to film him drinking water from the water bowl . nth fell into the water.
He always seems to go into the S shape , so i didnt really handle him much . hope it will improve !

Like Shewter said, check under his head and you'll see a little split pull that apart gently and it'll reveal any hiding mites.
