    Spotnose?

Okay I am rehoming a Leo and was offered a bp trade, they say its a spotnose but I am not good at the morph stuff, especially with a hard one like spotnose.. So I am asking for opinions! The other morphs they offered are correct, so I dont think they are bs-ing but I just want to make sure since I cant tell...

    Here are some pics..

    Thanks in advance!

I don't own any spotnose, but it does not look like a spotnose to me.

    Re: Spotnose?

Doesnt look like a spotnose. Id need a better shot of the tip of the nose and a belly shot (spotnose bellies are busy, almost like blackbellies). However, general rule for the more subtle morphs is if you have to ask keep looking.

Looks like one to me.. Markers can be spots on the nose, a busy head pattern, a busy overall pattern, and a light color. I'd say this is a spotnose, but not the best example of one.

IMO based off the few I've seen in person, plus the one I own, it does not look like one. If it is one, is a very low quality one then. Hope this helps.

I'd say it looks like a spotnose (not even just looking at the spots on the nose).

Spotnoses do not have to have actual spots on their noses (aka "booger nose"). The head stamp is what's most definitive about the morph. Get better pics of the top of the head and body.

    Mike,

That is a TERRIBLE reference. That is a dramatic representation of the morph and they don't look like that in person. That photo is doctored or under some weird lighting.
The pic below is more accurate of a typical spotnose. I have produced some just like this, and others that are more dramatic. The pic below is from google.
