not an option I know, but a honeybee(ghost x spider) would be sweet, looking at one myself,
very pretty and not a crazy price.

What combos do you really like? An enchi hypo or enchi 100% hypo female would work well since enchi butters look great on their own and really scream with the hypo gene.

With that said, I would personally save and get a hypo butter for breeding purposes. By doing this, you eliminate the possibility of producing possible hets and in my opinion would be better for furthering your hypo projects if you're really interested in working with this recessive gene.

Before adding a male for breeding, I would consider adding a female or two that has the hypo gene (visually or het) and grow her up since she'll take the longest to get to size.

Thank You for your response. I am also viewing the hypos as well. I did start ass backward though. LOL. I did get boys first, not knowing all the info when I jumped into this area 6 months ago.

LOL, no problem. I did the same thing too when I first started when I just bought boys as pets. Eventually, everything evens out because you'll go on a female buying spree.

If it was a 100% Het male You could breed to a het Hypo/Hypo and it would be worth it!

Inexpensive poss het males are really not worth proving out though...It would suck to waste a female Hypo on what could just be a "regular" Butter male when a Butter 100% Het Hypo male is not very expensive...

Re: Butter 66% Het Ghost Boy I want to get

    Update:

Holding off on this Butter 66 % Het Ghost. The past three days have been reading a TON of information on Het Genetics......what a cluster. LOL. I have to agree with 100% Het all the way. I got caught up in the looks of this snake rather than his background. This is COMMON in newbies to think this way in the beginning. I come on this site to get the BEST info and advise from those who know more than I. Next project....get another FEMALE before another boy.

    Thanks Again,
    Suz
