Just be careful, I don't know how heat cables function compared to ZooMed heat pads...but in my earlier days I had a ZooMed heat pad on the outside of an ABS cage, without a thermostat (I know), and it malfunctioned. Needless to say, if the snake was on that thing it would have been cooked. Luckily that didn't happen!
