Hi all,
Where do I find quality velvet geckos?
I have one left from a colony from about 5 or 6 years ago. I can't remember where I got them in the first place.
I'm sure I could dig up the records, but since I'm lazy, I thought I'd ask around first...lol
Thanks for any imput you might have

Check big places like LLLReptile and big gecko breeders. I bet we can find one. Those are really nice looking

they are great, I just moved our lonely old female into a tiny little 8 gallon, her community was in a nice enclosure, but we just can't afford to waste the space untill we get more in.

We do have a large rescue project happening tommarow which involves 2 nile monitors, 8 leopard geckos, an albino bull snake, 2 plated lizards, and 26 rabbits and 500 rats, oh yeah plus a dog and a sugar glider...lol the mammals are not coming here!!! and I think we are receiving a common boa on Tuesday from our local humane society, and a couple of pictus geckos are coming soon too.
Whew, I think thats it...lol
What kind of herps are you keeping / in to?

So what percent of those are rescues that you have no intent to keep? Or are they all for pets?
I keep 1.2 ball pythons of course, 1.2 green anoles, and 0.0.2 toads. I'm reducing the colection to 1.2 bp's and 0.1 macklott's soon. When spring comes I'll release the toads, maybe. I'm not a lizard guy, they take too much effort. And with 1.1 bp's I can make more at any time. Right now all I want is 2 ball pythons, male and female, and a female macklott's.
It's all about space, and thinking to the future.
I have experience in:
corn snake
leopard geckos
tokay geckos
garter snake
toads
ball pythons
water dragons
anoles
and I had a salamander.

At geckos unlimited they HAD the (all sold out) for 75$ (oedura castelnaui)
I never dreamed the little geckos cost so much. I'm expecting this cause from originating from Australia

there are some up for adoption, like a corn and a rat, but the problem is we don't ship.
Plus we've just moved and it's been so hectic between moving and this last rescue case (did I mentioned all this womans animals including the herps rabbits and rats are free roaming?) argh...lol
