Yeah, I'd increase your feathering on your brush when you drop the exposure around the subject so that you don't produce such hard edges. You may also want to consider getting a faster shutter speed going (more light), a lot of the head movements made the images have fuzzy details to them taking away from the image. Yeah unfortunately I've been using my phone (SLR is broken) for both photography & editing & it may not be showing on my phone as far as the colors go... I've been using the "picsart" app for blackening the edges. Like I said though... This was just playing around. Practice makes perfect.
