Stuck Eye Cap
I've seen and heard of a few way to remove stuck eye caps I just want to see what peoples opinions are on the best way to remove the eye cap without hurting the snake. Thanks

Leave it on. It will come off with the next shed. You could severely damage the eye trying to remove it.

0.0.1 Colombian Rainbow Boa (Houdini)
0.1 Leatherback Beardie

That's the best way. Double check that your husbandry, especially the humidity, is correct and any retained eye caps will come off with the next shed.

Re: Stuck Eye Cap
Awesome thank you guys. That's what I'll do. Yah, I've been struggling a little bit keeping the humidity in the tub due to the dryness of the winter with the heater and all. I ended up covering the back of the tub with duct tape and moved her water back so it's over the heat tape and now the humidity is great! So her next shed should be sweet.

Soak the snake in warm(not hot) water for a couple of hours half way up the side of her body.. You can also apply fragrance free moisturizing lotion. I have done both successfully. I wouldn't wait for next shed.

I don't know about soaking for hours or applying lotion, but what's worked for me multiple times is soaking a pillow case in warm water then tying them in it and letting them crawl around inside it for about 20 mins with the pillowcase inside a tub.
Also works for stuck shed around the head/neck area.
