What background color for taking pics?

I don't know if it's a good place to post this topic, but if not please move it to right place .

Just wanted to know wat is in your opinion best background to take pictures of snakes?
Black, wihite, brown, grey? Or some more bright colors like red, yellow, green etc?

Also if you have any pics on other then white or black background (because those are most common I think), please post so I can see how does it look like .

I like to vary my background colors, and will even use textured ones like aquarium rocks. Try several and see what you like.

No I don't think it matters at all what colour you shoot on as long as it does not distract from what you are photographing.

honestly I like white. Keep it simple so it doesn't draw attention away from the snake and its colors and pattern. I think you can always capture cool images with other ideas, almost as art. I just like to be able to focus on the snake.

I would not use ANY bright colors because it will make the main object washed out unless the object is very brightly colored as well. White is wonderful for all snake pictures. Black for light snakes can work as well.

These guys always use the same background. Not black or white.
