Here's a link to the product I've used for the last 3 months. It's a simply a cypress blend. I have had no problems with it at all. All I have to do is pick out some of the bigger chunks of bark. I have not baked or frozen it and have not seen any insects of any kind. It holds humidity pretty well and it pleasing to the eye. It is sold in a bag that is 3 cubic feet, that is over 35lbs of mulch.(you can't beat that price)You will need a plastic container equal to or bigger than the size of a 40 gallon aquarium to house the remainder of the bag. Yes it's a LOT. I've used a little over half the bag across 3 full bedding changes for a 10 and a 20 gal long terrariums. One thing I enjoy with this product is that on bedding changing day I can simply throw the used portion out into the yard. I recently acquired a blood python and needed a humidity boost so I mixed in some compressed cocnut fiber. All in all this is a pretty good substrate. Enjoy
