    Dry ice

Where can I buy dry ice?
What do rat breeders use to keep the rats frozen when they're shipped?

You can pick up dry ice at most grocery stores. As for shipping, can't really help you there.

Yep, they use dry ice and wrap it in some sort of insulation -make sure it's not fiberglass. And you should be able to get dry ice from about any grocery store.

i doubt it. i worked at a vet clinic for a while. they'd ship us our medicine with ice packs. while it kept the meds cold they were nowhere near freezing. if you're shipping dead rodents you don't want those thawing out. lol

Agreed, I work at a vet clinic as well and experienced the same thing.
