Every time the poo or pee the tub comes out, gets cleaned completely and put back.
In my collection there is no such thing as spot cleaning.
Cleaning can be twice weekly or once weekly but it usually weekly at least.

I voted other because its whenever they go to the pee, poop. If its been a week or so since they went I just routinely change the paper towels and wipe the hides down anyway.

I do spot clean the tubs with aspen. I probably throw that out and replace it entirely every 3 months or so. But my breeding tubs and my tanks are on paper. For the tubs it's basically whenever they crap, or if they completely soak the paper. I sometimes don't see poops in the the tanks, so they might get away with hiding them for a week or two. But they like to hide UNDER the paper even more than under the hide, so eventually they'll mess it up so badly I go in there anyway. It's rare that I go longer than a month without completely replacing the paper in the tanks.

I've started double-layering the paper in both the tanks and the tubs so that they can just hide under the folds. Because the whole point is for them to poo ON THE PAPER, not under it.

1-2 times per week depending on how dirty it is. If they make a mess, we clean again as soon as we notice it.

Re: how often do you clean?

Since switching to newspaper I clean as soon as anyone is dirty. Sometimes it's just one or two tubs, sometimes almost everyone is dirty but I typically end up cleaning daily or almost daily.
If it's just a fairly dry mess that doesn't soak through the paper I may just change the paper but if there's any moisture I wipe dry with a paper towel, soak in F10, wipe out and replace newspaper. Unless anyone has gotten anything icky in their water I usually only scrub out and disinfect water dishes once a week, and just ensure they're filled the rest of the week.

    Cleaning

I do a full cleaning every 2-3 weeks, spot cleaning every time they defecate.
