what do you guys perfer and why?

At the time i could get away with a herp1 or a ve200 but i know within a year im going to buy another tank and need another t stat so ill spend the little extra now.

I've never used either, but I will be getting either a herpstat 2 or 4. Probably the 2.

I've used both of them. Both are the top of the line and will do you well. This is one of those decisions where you can't go wrong.

i think i am leaning towards the herp. the only reason i would get the ve 300 would to save a little on shipping when i order my RHP and other stuff i may see.

I have the VE and a herpstat 4. I can tell you hands down I like the herpstat more. The VE isn't bad, but I wouldn't buy another one.

i LOVE herpstats. But its a win win either way

Herpstat, the ve does not offer the same level of safety features as the herpstats.
