    Scab? Scale rot?

Noticed this has been getting larger on my friends bp. Its only a few milimetres in length She has a couple of other scab like dots but not as large. It is hard to the touch. Any ideas?

The thing is, the heat lamp is outside the enclosure, and the uth is controlled by a thermostat. It is also weighed down by a hide and log and I see no way of her borrowing under. (Nor have I seen her do it)

Where are the other spots located?
I would try cleaning it with betadine.

    Is her substrate wet?

You sure they just showed up? I rescued a BP from CL that had a big rat bite scar & the skin in that location looks a lot like that mark.

It does kind of look like a rat bite healing up. If there are other small ones, that would make sense. A burn wouldn't be a single spot like this, and scale rot doesn't usually occur on the dorsal scales.
