This site is fantastic:

BCI is boa constrictor imperator, and these include Colombians, Central American boas (like Nics), and Hog Island and other island boas.
BCC is boa constricor constrictor and "true red tail boas" (ie I do not call my Colombians, Hog, and Argentine boas "red tails" because it's incorrect IMO). These include Guyanas, Peruvians, Surinames, etc.
Then you have BCL, BCO, and BCA boas. Another ball game lol
BCCs usually get larger than BCIs but it depends on the snake. I read that they are more sensitive to regurge issues but I believe it's because some people keep them too warm as babies and causes this. BCC boas usually have peaked saddles like this: {} while BCI saddles are usually like this: )( and a good BCC will keep a deep red tail (Colombians will usually loose their red color into adulthood). Once you see a lot of BCCs vs BCI it's very easy to spot which is which.
