I bruise very easily so with every snake bite i take i bruise pretty good.
I've never been bitten by a BP but i did take a bite to the face a couple months ago by a five and a half - six foot Yellow Anaconda which definitely wasn't fun.
I'm just glad my JCP (soon-to-be largest snake I keep) is as tame as a puppy dog. He has bitten me twice, but only when he was younger & both times due to stupid feeding errors. When he does reach full size, I think it'll be wise to invest in some long tongs!
