Snake Won't Eat Rat
What do I do with the rat if my BP won't eat it?

Freeze it for next time. Feed it to another reptile. If its alive, house it comfortably until next feed. Give it away. Or discard it

if it is f/t, do not refreeze it, just suck it up and toss it out and plan on getting another one for the next feeding time, other than that same as above

Re: Snake Won't Eat Rat
I refreeze the rat until next trash day and then throw it out. I hate doin' it

Refereezing a rat 1 time won't hurt. You definitely don't want to freeze more than 2 times tho...

Re: Snake Won't Eat Rat
Refreezing is fine once. You may go through a lot of rats if you throw out everyone that is refused the first time. They say refreezing breaks down tissue and makes it more "gamey" which some snakes like.

I house Leftover comfortably until if my snake is ready for it to become Dinner again. I'm currently housing one now.
