That bp could easily kill that cat. I never realized how big sass's bp was.

Just had to add this - my month old BP chased off a full grown tom (owned by my friend). The tom never saw me leave with the snake and is still sure that he is lurking in the house, and thus, is still terribly afraid of shadowy corners and being alone.

hehehe....its funny how they can be such 'scaredy cats'. When I first got Atreyu, and Lucy spotted him...she FLEW out of the studio and would not step paw back in for over two weeks. Now, she'll get that close....and tries to bat at him. But I tell her "Don't EVEN think about it..." and she stays back.

I got a story too
I have a big ol' 5x2x2 for all my ball pythons. It's got a big sliding door so I put the cat in there for fun, it was kinda cute. Next thing I know I got a 3 foot ball python trying to eat a 25 pound cat. Good thing it missed, it struck like 3 times. I haven't done it since...
Monty is a real go getter. If he was bigger I'd have a dead cat.
The moral of the story, never put a cat in a ball python cage.
