    Finally pulled the trigger on a baby blood!

    Ok guys so i finally got a baby female Sumatran Blood from Ben Siegel, she should arrive on wednesday.

    Here she is


    I also wanted to know what are the biggest species of blood and also the smallest. Thank you

    They are recommended to be kept in tubs due to their humidity requirements and for them to feel secure. Security is a big thing with the little guys.

    Yes your goal is 80-82F with 60-70% humidity. They will drink water like no tomorrow as well. They also are more apt to soak than ball pythons, so if a larger water bowl is provided, it will not only provide more in-tub humidity but also stimulate natural behavior in the snake making her less stressed. Newspaper works great with bloods, they really like to hide in a few sheets of crumbled paper, although any tight secure hide will do. A light misting on newsprint or paper towels daily should keep your humidity right in the sweet spot
