Day night cycle
I have a timer setup in my snake room for a light for day/night cycle, just wandering, I have all the snakes in my sig in there, but it mostly covers the boas. What would be an ideal time ratio for this? (on=? off=?)

Does the room have a window? Usually I just crack the blinds a wee bit in the snake room so they get a day/night cycle naturally. So maybe 12 hrs daytime/12 night for your lamp?

I'm sure if some light gets into the room they can see it (unless you have their tubs/tanks covered 24/7). Just make sure your BPs aren't in direct constant sunlight from the window since that can really raise temps inside their cages.
Edit: Your signature says "patel" instead of "pastel" lol just FYI

Lol oops, seems like the "s" didn't go through haha.
But no, there are blinds in the window and always kept down. I use a heater and window AC to keep the temp regulated at about 81-83 night/day, but the blinds make it a more dulled light but they are so close it's perfect, hard to explain, I will take a picture and show you when I get home!!!!
The boas are in tubs on the opposite side of the room on the same side, so the light doesn't really make it over there as much. I just have a little day light clipped about 2 1/2 - 3 ft above the tubs.
