    Help! :(

I just checked on my new Russo boy and found that he has a very bloated abdomen. I fed him yesterday and everything down to the point of the mouse I gave him feels normal- but after the mouse his belly area feels bloated and swollen.

I think we have an emergency exotics vet about an hour away from here. Should I be taking him?

You should..it makes me think maybe something twisted somehow and he isn't able to release stuff?
Poor guy, yes, take him to the vet and keep us updated!
    I hope he's okay.

He looks just a little backed up to me. This happens sometimes with hatchlings. Their urinates can clog up and a lump will form. You can see the darker feces in him. If you gently rub his belly sometimes you can work it down and out. Just watch out. Sometimes it gets pretty messy lol. I would take to a vet if it doesn't go away in a few days maybe even a week, but I don't see the need to freak out yet.

I soaked him in a warm bath and massaged his belly- it was poop! Thank you so much. I've had a lot of health worries with this guy already so I start jumping the gun when I see something odd.
